Kimberly Benowski
Dr. Kimberly Benowski is an instructional designer and developer in Cornell University's Center for Teaching Innovation (CTI), where she consults with faculty and colleagues across the university on innovative, inclusive, and accessible learning experiences with and without emerging technologies. A former co-chair of the Cornell Online Learning Community, she brings expertise in learning, online education, professional development, technology, and project management gained through roles at CTI, eCornell, and in the corporate sector. Kim has taught in-person, hybrid, and online courses and workshops on learning, leadership, healthcare, human resources, and technology. Her doctoral research focused on factors that influence learning and included work in the University at Buffalo's Neurocognitive Science Lab. She holds a doctorate in education from the University at Buffalo, a master’s degree in education from Penn State University, and undergraduate degrees in human development and business administration from Binghamton University and SUNY Broome.
