Active & Collaborative Learning
Active learning methods engage students and help them learn more effectively through activities that allow them to process and practice what they are learning and receive feedback on their progress. Common activities include peer-to-peer discussion, problem-solving, writing, answering polling questions, and concept mapping. Collaborative learning is often a component of active learning that encourages students to effectively work with peers, help each other learn, and feel a sense of belonging to a learning community.
