Chloë DeShong

Assistant Director of Operations and Support

Chloë DeShong is the assistant director of operations and support at the Center for Teaching Innovation. In this role, she oversees the implementation of the annual assessment and data collection plan, manages assessments of various programs, and contributes to strategic planning efforts. Chloë recommends solutions for support and operations initiatives based on research and analysis.

In addition to her assessment role, Chloë oversees the planning and implementation of CTI's communications, maintains communication procedures and infrastructure, and collaborates to create and integrate content across communications, events, and programs. 

Chloë supports program operations by reviewing and researching CTI operations, assisting management with decision-making related to policy formulation and operational changes. She coordinates projects and manages project interdependencies. Before joining Cornell, Chloë worked in telecommunications, where she utilized speech analytics to enhance training and human resource development. She holds a master’s degree in adult learning, with a focus on faculty development and adult learning theories.
