When does the course begin?
The course is self-paced, which means you may enroll at any time.
For maximum flexibility in facilitating a learning community experience at your own pace, we recommend learners enroll in the verified track. With the verified track, you will also have access to course materials beyond the course end.
Participants in the audit track do face the limitation of having access to the course for only 5-weeks from the point of enrollment.
If you are taking the course with a cohort organized by your institution, your local facilitator will provide you with start times and schedule details.

Navigate to the Teaching & Learning in the Diverse Classroom on edX, register with edX, and enroll in the course.
Once you have enrolled, the course will be displayed on your edX dashboard.

Is the certificate from the Center for Teaching Innovation, and how do I get it?
The certificates are issued through edX, but they are from the Cornell University’s Center for Teaching Innovation.
To earn a certificate, you must be enrolled in the Verified certificate track, and you must successfully answer the Verified checkpoint questions within the course.

Will I have access to the course content after the five-week enrollment period ends?
If you have paid for the Verified Certificate you will have open-ended access beyond the course end date.

How do I earn a certificate?
To earn a Verified Certificate, you will need to:
- pay the Verified Certificate upgrade fee
- verify your identity with a webcam and government-issued ID
- pass all assignments by the deadline with a grade of at least 50% across all the "Check Your Learning" questions combined

If I pay and complete all the requirements for a Verified certificate, will I receive an email completion too or just access to a certificate?
I registered to receive the Verified Certificate; can I get a receipt?
Can I get financial assistance for the Verified Certificate fee?
A group in our organization is taking the course. We would like to pay for the Verified certificates for all group members with a single credit card. Is there a way we can do that, or does the actual person enrolling in the course have to pay for the certificate?
You may pay for a group using one credit card.
